REPENTANCE IS NOT A TITLE

It is unimaginably on the increase of sin, evil and wickedness, even among the Christians and people of God. We say ‘we have repented’ but we live otherwise. There is no trace of difference, nor evidence of true repentance in us. We are called and referred by a name, but our actions and conducts do not match with it. Repentance is not a title; it is neither a right nor a claim, but a call for a genuine change of life, by the way we live– our actions, conducts and behaviors.
SCRIPTURE: Prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God. (Matthew 3:8) NLT
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, we are all called to more than words or ritual; but to change our behavior. God looks beyond our words and religious activities to see if our conduct backs up what we say or preach, and He judges our words by the actions that accompany them. So, the big question now is, do your actions match your words?
But note, this is not a way of judgement nor condemnation, but a way of calling us to order, and to wake up to our Christian responsibilities and expression of values. Stay Refreshed!

RESPONSIBILITY: So, deliberately make efforts to live out the Christian life, let others see you and emulate your faith in Christ Jesus.
PRAYER: O LORD, help my life. Give me the grace to live a true Christian life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
