The greatest plot of the enemy is the plot against a person’s purpose and destiny, to distract him from fulfilling his God’s given mandate on earth. Distraction is an attack on a person’s destiny and purpose.
The devil’s principal scheme is to confuse a person and divert his attention from loving God, and making him to believe that God is a liar. Sometimes, the devil would draw the person’s attention to his empty and fetish promises in order to water down his relationship with God.
SCRIPTURE:
Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, “All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.” (Matthew 8:8-9) ESV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:
If a man’s desire turns to riches instead of the Father of riches, he will stumble and lost focus on God.
Satan’s tactics haven’t changed a bit. If he can’t get you to believe his lies and doubt your position in Christ, he will try to draw you away with the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things. So many good people who truly love God had fallen prey to this temptation, only to find themselves depressed, discouraged, empty, and unfulfilled.
From our anchor scripture, Satan tried to get Jesus to serve creation more than the Creator, offering Him unlimited riches, wealth and power in the world. Satan was aware of Jesus earthly ministry so, he directly attacked Him to distract and divert the purpose. If Jesus did not have a firm grasp on who He was, He would be on shaky ground. Then the enemy would be able to derail His purpose on earth.
Beloved, devil would not appear looking very dark and ugly like the picture we portray of him. He employs so many ways and tricks, and could come and distract one in different forms. So, we must abide consistently in the presence of God at the place of prayer, be guided in His word, and always tread with caution. Stay Lifted.
NOTE THIS:

RESPONSIBILITY:
Determine to remain steadfast in the pursuit of God and your divine calling despite confrontations.
PRAYER:
O LORD, cause me to be steadfast to my purpose and in the pursuit of your kingdom, in Jesus name, Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD:
Every satanic agenda to distract and arrest your destiny, is CANCELLED, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
