DATE: SUNDAY 18 OCTOBER 2020
In life, people face different kinds of storms. When these storms come, how we react to them matters a whole lot. Storms come with unhealthy feelings and cause untold disturbances in the life of people.
A lot of people try to control the storms by themselves. They have used all the available tools within their arsenal to calm them, but all to no avail. Little did they know, that Jesus is the fount of Peace.
SCRIPTURE:
Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus, (Philippians 4:7) NLT
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:
The true and lasting peace you need to flourish in the midst of the storm is found in Christ Jesus.
In Christ, you are saved, justified and vindicated by faith which shields you, and produces an ambience of peace around your life, (Romans 5:1). The life of Christ in a man guarantees absolute peace. It’s not the peace the world can give, (John 14:27).
Beloved, you may be in a season right now where everything around you seems out of control. Maybe it’s your relationship, or your business is failing. All you need to do is invoke the powers in the word of God over your situation and stay calm-Peace!
When you are at peace, you are displaying your faith in God. Trust that He is working behind the scenes. Keep your heart open to Him, soonest He will deliver you! Stay Lifted!
NOTE THIS:
The true and lasting peace a person needs to flourish in the midst of the storm is found in Christ Jesus.
