Yesterday, we learnt that one’s purpose on earth is divinely designed, and directs his mandate in life. Now let us look at consequences of neglecting or abandoning one’s purpose on earth.

 

We all have specific brief from the divine on the role we are to play while on earth. Know it that we are not here merely to live each day as it comes, enjoying ourselves and waiting for the day we would be called home. In one way or the other, we are all called to live purpose-driven lives by adding value to all of creation.

 

SCRIPTURE:

“For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

 

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:

It takes a purpose-driven life to eliminate the calamities of life.

 

God’s purpose for man is very clear as seen in our anchor scripture. Before we were formed in our mothers’ wombs, He had already molded us into what He wants us to become. The physical manifestation of our persons has already been concluded in the spiritual realm.

 

Beloved, God cares about you and me. He wants us to live a fulfilled life. No matter what the world may be passing through now; no matter your family challenges; no matter the ills people say about you, it is not over yet for you. You have a divine mandate to achieve and you must surely succeed if you trust in God.

 

CONSEQUENCES OF ABANDONING YOUR PURPOSE

1.    Struggling and demotion is evident.

2.    Lack of interest and peace of mind.

3.    Unfulfilled living and lack of future.

4.    Failure and stagnation are inevitable.

5.    Frustration, confusion and depression.

 

NOTE THIS:

It takes a purpose-driven life to eliminate the calamities of life.

 

RESPONSIBILITY:

Strive at all cost to live a purposeful life; for a purposeful man is a fulfilled man.

 

PRAYER:

O God baptize me with your grace to fulfil my purpose on earth, in Jesus’ name Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)

 

PROPHETIC WORD:

I speak grace to live purposeful life into you; RECEIVE IT NOW! in the name of Jesus, Amen.
