ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL by Obiorah Prince Emeka

DATE: FRIDAY 18 SEPTEMBER 2020

Previously, we had identified various kinds of enemy of destiny and their scheme of attack. Now let us look at lasting and proven ways to overcome them.

SCRIPTURE:

The Lord said to my Lord, sit in the place of honor at my right hand until I humble your enemies beneath your feet. (Mark 12:36) NLT

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:

If you can overcome the enemy, you will fulfil your destiny.

Any wonder St. Catherine of sienna wrote: “If you are what you should be, you will set the whole world ablaze!”.

PROVEN WAYS TO OVERCOME ENEMIES OF DESTINY

1.    Align your destiny with the will of God: As Christians, our destiny can only be found in Christ, (Ephesians 1:11-12). If we don’t align our will with the will of God, we will not fulfill God’s destiny. You can’t do things as you please and expect to arrive at God’s expected place for you.

2.    Maintain a quality devotional life: The greatest conspiracy of the enemy is an attack against a person’s devotional life. The enemy always seek to attack and destroy your prayer life, your study of the word and your praise and worship life. So, be rugged in prayer and maintain unswerving study of the word.

Beloved, refused to be discouraged, the enemy will always find a way to penetrate and destroy your destiny. Beware of their attacks, and always be determined to pray until you overcome. Also know that I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, (Eph. 1:16). Stay Lifted!

NOTE THIS:

If you can overcome the enemy, you will fulfil your destiny.

RESPONSIBILITY:

Start your day with prayer and study of the word.

PRAYER:

O LORD, give me the grace to overcome every enemy against my destiny, in Jesus’ name Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)

PROPHETIC WORD:

Receive divine grace to reign over every enemy of your destiny, in the name of Jesus, Amen.

BIBLE TEXTS: Mark 12:36, Eph. 1:16; 11-12.
