The spiritual basis of every child of God matters a lot. How strong a person’s spiritual foundation is the greater impact he will make in his life and generation. We shall be looking at the impact of building on a solid foundation. Jesus is the solid foundation.
SCRIPTURE:
Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock, (Matthew 7:24) NLT
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:
Your eternal destiny, is a reflection of the foundation you built on.
It is necessary to point out from our anchor scripture that, not building on a solid foundation is never an ignorance, but it is disobedience to the teachings of Christ.
Beloved, your obedience and application of God’s Word are crucial to building a solid foundation in Christ. That includes your trust in God and your growing relationship with Christ. By so doing, whenever storms of life come your way, you’ll be grounded in biblical truths and remain steady as a rock in your moral beliefs.
But, if you disobey and refuse to heed to the teachings of Christ, you are building on a crack foundation, that will definitely crash. For this reason, it’s wise to seek God daily and ask Him to give us the grace to remain steadfast, even as we build on a solid foundation. Stay Lifted!
