TIMES OF REFRESHING

ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL by Obiorah Prince Emeka

DATE: WEDNESDAY 28 OCTOBER 2020

In life, there is no shortcut to accomplishment. Only through determination and persistence, can we overcome the huddles and adversities of life. Do you know why people fail? It is because they give up, and they feel that it is not worth trying anymore.

Well, this is where they are wrong. Perhaps, if they tried a little harder, they would have been successful in their pursuit.

SCRIPTURE:

But Ruth replied, “Don’t ask me to leave you and turn back. Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you live, I will live. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God”, (Ruth 1:16) NLT

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:

Irrefutable success both in life and destiny is a product of determination.

Determination is a positive demonstrative feeling that involves persevering towards a difficult goal in spite of obstacles. It’s firmness of purpose or the quality of being resolute.

Time and time again, insights from the scriptures about successful men and women have taught us that determination is a key to a guaranteed manifestation, (Ruth 1:16-18). When Naomi saw that Ruth was determined to go with her, she said nothing more, (vs 18). Ruth’s determination eventually established her on the genealogy of Jesus, (Matthew 1:16).

So, beloved, there is no shame in losing and trying again. Pursue your goals in life; when you fall, don’t quit, get up and continue. But, if you quit, you will repent for the rest of your life. Believe in yourself, have faith in God, maintain discipline, pray, be determined and work smart. You will succeed. Stay Lifted!

NOTE THIS:

Irrefutable success both in life and destiny is a product of determination.

May God establish you and set your feet on a higher ground, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
