O Lord, Revive Us Again (1)

Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional

Date: Sunday, 27 July 2025

Topic: O Lord, Revive Us Again (1)

Focus: What Is Revival?

🔥 Message:

Revival is not a church event—it is a divine invasion. It is God breathing life into what has become dry, routine, or lifeless. It is the heart cry of those who are no longer satisfied with business as usual, who cry out with holy desperation: “Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?” (Psalm 85:6) This devotional series is a call back to the fire. A cry from the altar. A stirring of the soul that longs to see the Church awakened, sin forsaken, the lost drawn, and the presence of God made real again.

📖 Key Verse:

Psalm 85:6 (NKJV) “Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?”

Devotional:
Revival is not just a louder church service or a longer worship night—it is the restoration of life where death had crept in. It’s when the presence of God becomes so real that sin loses its grip, hearts melt in surrender, and hunger for righteousness returns. Revival is heaven interrupting earth. It’s a divine resuscitation—a waking up from spiritual slumber and a returning to first love. Any wonder, the Psalmist’s cry in Psalm 85:6 reflects this deep longing: “Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?”

📖 Scripture Reading:
Psalm 85:6 – “Will You not revive us again…?”
Habakkuk 3:2 – “Lord, I have heard of Your fame… renew them in our day.”
Revelation 2:4–5 – “You have forsaken the love you had at first…”

💧 Refreshing for the Day:
Beloved, true revival begins personally before it ever becomes public. God doesn’t revive buildings—He revives hearts. It starts with you. With one soul that refuses to stay cold. One heart that says, “Lord, if You’re going to move anywhere, let it start in me.” So ask yourself today: Am I alive, or just functioning? Am I burning, or just surviving?
Let this be the beginning of your personal revival. Stay Refreshed!

Note This:
Revival is not hype—it’s holy fire rekindled in surrendered hearts. It begins where repentance and hunger meet.

🛡️ Responsibility:
✅ Set aside 15 minutes today. Get alone with God and ask: “Lord, what part of me needs reviving?” Be honest. Let that be your starting point for this journey.

🙏 Prayer:
O Lord, revive me again. Stir my heart from spiritual sleep. Awaken passion, purity, and pursuit. Let the flames of first love burn again in me. Begin a revival—and start with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

🔥 Prophetic Declaration:
Revival starts now—in my heart, in my home, and in my spirit. I refuse to be lukewarm. I am coming alive again by the fire of God. This is my season of awakening! Alleluia!
