MAKE THE LORD YOUR REFUGE

We live in a world that’s immersed in absolute wickedness. Where the arrows of the enemy fly in the day and the terrors are unleashed by the night (Psalm 91:5). So, it’s only those that make the Lord God their refuge, their shelter and protection that shall stand and succeed. Thus so, the Psalmist declared,
SCRIPTURE: If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. (Psalm 91:9 NLT)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, beloved, do not make the mistake of thinking that you’re covered outside God’s presence. For nowhere else outside the presence of God is truly safe. So, I tell you most solemnly, if you want to rise, if you want to grow, if you want to manifest the influence of the kingdom, and fulfil your purpose in life and destiny, you must learn to make the Lord your refuge. Yes, this is true. And if you think the enemy will be happy for you and everybody will clap for you because you’re rising, you better think twice. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Aside in God’s presence, there is no guarantee of immunity elsewhere.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, seek to always be in God’s presence, and in His refuge all the days of your life.
PRAYER: O LORD, You are my refuge, my shelter and protection, please don’t allow me to go down in shame and disgrace, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: As you have made the Lord your refuge, may He always protect you from the unseen arrows of the enemy, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
