Habitually at the beginning of every year, just about this time, we make new year resolutions. We set fresh goals, great plans and other wonderful things we would want to achieve for the year. And we also mapped out strategies on how to go about to actualize and objectify those plans. But experience of people has shown that great resolutions alone, many times, do not resolve to great achievement, if we do not consider certain roles necessary to turning our desires into realities.
SCRIPTURE: Therefore write down the things you have seen, and the things that are, and the things that will happen after this. (Revelation 1:19) BSB
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, we can’t proceed to talk about resolution and how to achieve it without a proper work is done on the inside. Every resolution needs to be borne out of inner desire and value for it, and not just for its necessity and urgency for it. So, for the best interest, it’s better we first of all do some self-examination and prayerfully find out what we sincerely need with regards to its precedence in our life. We must carefully check its viability, attainability and achievability before making a resolution.
You don’t need to put yourself in unnecessary and needless pressure nor bow to the public demand to make resolutions. You don’t make resolutions in a hurry and out of excitement, just because others are doing it. No, it must be birthed out from the place of importance. Until tomorrow, Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: There is every need we make fresh resolutions, but it must be viable and achievable.
RESPONSIBILITY: Don’t be in so much a hurry to make resolutions. Take your time, look into yourself, be truthful to yourself.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to make great resolutions in this new year 2022, and cause me to achieve them all, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
