LIVING WITH INTENTION (3)
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: TUESDAY, 21 NOVEMBER 2023
TOPIC: LIVING A LIFE OF PURPOSE: A SOURCE OF SPIRITUAL FULFILLMENT
Seemingly, beloved, living with intention aligns our actions with our values and fosters consistency in our character. Yes, this is true. It ensures that our daily choices reflect the principles and beliefs that are important to us. It helps us to channel our energy towards what matters most. Instead of dispersing our efforts in multiple directions, we concentrate our energy on endeavors that contribute significantly to our mission and purpose.
SCRIPTURE: “Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.” – Ephesians 5:15-16 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Again, living with intention encourages mindful decision making and offers clarity even in the midst of uncertainty. Indeed, life is often uncertain, but intentional living provides a steady anchor. It gives a sense of assurance that we are moving in the right direction. Rather than reacting impulsively to circumstances, we approach choices with a clear understanding of how they contribute to our overall life direction. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Intentionality transforms unclear aspirations into concrete goals. When you live with intention, your actions are goal-oriented, moving you steadily toward the fulfillment of your purpose.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, beloved, let’s ask God for the grace for intentionality in our mission and purpose in life.
PRAYER: Oh LORD, as we seek to live a life of purpose on earth, give us the grace to live with intention, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: And may the Lord grant us clarity to our mission and purpose in life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: Ephesians 5:15-16
