TOPIC: LIVING THE MOST SATISFYING LIFE
Beloved, I want to share with you today about “living the most satisfying life”. Do you know that the Christian life is the most satisfying life? Yes, it’s true, and there’s no doubt about it. However, it’s the Christians that compromise this fact. We find life miserable when things are not going down well for us. We always think life to be so good only when all is well, but that’s not the real interpretation of a good life. Jesus foresaw this, and he warned His followers in John 16:33, He said to them,
SCRIPTURE: “I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.] (John 16:33 AMP)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Jesus was invariably saying, do not always expect the easy way in life. For if you do, you are certainly destined for disappointment. He also consolidated on the fact that in Him we may have peace and live a satisfying life. So, this is to encourage us to be happy and joyful at all times, good or bad; in lack or in abundance. Knowing that for every trial or test, the Lord will supply abundance of grace with which to bear it, and in our weakness, we are made strong (2 Cor 12:9). Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: The Christian life is the most satisfying life. It may come with its own challenges, but in all, the gains are abundant.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, beloved, do not be afraid when life happens to you, but count it all gain.
PRAYER: Oh Lord, give me the grace to live a good Christian life, in Jesus’s name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As you live a good Christian life, may the Lord satisfy you in abundance, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
