Walking by Faith, Not by Sight (5)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Monday, 2 February 2026
Topic: Walking by Faith, Not by Sight (5)
Focus: Faith That Holds On in Difficult Moments
🔥Theme:
A new season often brings moments where clarity feels limited and certainty feels distant. Yet God invites us to live by faith—trusting His Word more than our circumstances and His promises more than what our eyes can see. This devotional series will guide you in learning how to trust God step by step, even when the path ahead is unclear. As you walk through these days, expect your faith to deepen and your confidence in God’s leading to grow.
📖 Key Verse:
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7
Devotional:
Difficult moments can make faith feel heavy. When pressure increases and answers seem far away, holding on can feel exhausting. Yet this is often where faith grows the deepest. Faith that holds on does not mean you never feel tired—it means you refuse to let go of God. Job held on. David held on. Many before us trusted God even when circumstances were painful and confusing.
📖 Scripture Reading:
- Hebrews 10:23 — Holding firmly to hope
- Psalm 66:10–12 — God refines through trials
- Isaiah 41:10 — God strengthens and upholds you
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
God does not ask you to be strong alone. He promises to strengthen you when you lean on Him. Holding on in difficult moments is an act of trust that God sees, honors, and sustains. When you hold on to God, He holds you even closer. God gives strength to those who choose to hold on in faith. Stay Refreshed!
✨ Note This:
🤍 Faith that holds on is faith that will endure.
🛡️ Responsibility:
In a difficult moment today, remind yourself: “God is with me.”
🙏 Prayer:
Father, when moments feel heavy, help me hold on to You. Strengthen my faith, renew my courage, and remind me that You are near. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
🔥 Prophetic Declaration:
I hold on to God in difficult moments. My faith remains strong, and God sustains me through every challenge. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
