The quality of our devotion and dedication to God affects the quality of our life. Devotion to God is a clear, strong willing and conscious choice or decision we make to faithfully commit our life to God, His Word and respond daily to the service in His vine yard. Insight from the Scriptures has clearly shown that the depth of our devotion determines the height of our achievement in life, (Job 1:1-3, Daniel 6:8-24)
SCRIPTURE: Above all, fear the LORD and serve Him faithfully with all your heart…(1 Samuel 12:24) BSB
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Your complete devotion to God determines your clear lifting in life.
The Scripture also communicates to us that we can devote our lives to a particular task or service for God. Ezra devoted himself to the study and obedience of God’s law (Ezra 7:10) and Nehemiah devoted himself to the work of rebuilding the wall around Jerusalem (Nehemiah 5:16). And all these men excelled greatly in life.
Beloved, do you want to attain greater heights and achieve tremendous success in life and destiny, then you must live a life of devotion. Stay Lifted!
