So, beloved, be aware of who is in your life. The people God has sent to you. Take your time to be a blessing to them. They’re not in your life by accident, God put them there on purpose. It’s because you’re full of blessings. Yes, it’s true. God knows you have what it takes to take care of them, that’s why He sent them to you. So, be grateful when you become a blessing to others, for you too shall be blessed (2 Cor. 9:9).
SCRIPTURE: One who gives to the poor will never lack anything, but one who shuts his eyes will have many curses. (Proverbs 28:27 NASB)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: However, beloved, being a blessing to others might not necessarily always mean a monetary value. It might be as simple as calling and checking out on a friend or colleague, visiting and encouraging the sick and praying with them. It’s no big deal to you, but it means a lot to them. You’re becoming a blessing. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Life is so much more rewarding when you realize that you can be the answer to somebody’s prayer.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, sincerely seek to become a blessing to others. Not just for the gains, but on its own, it’s so fulfilling.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to care for others as much as I care for myself, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As you develop this mindset to care for others, may the Lord care for you and establish you and yours, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
