LET GOD LEAD YOU
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: THURSDAY, 27 OCTOBER 2022
We often make the mistakes of trusting our instincts and head knowledge to lead us aright. If not, what would make a person to wake up in the morning and goes out without praying and consulting with God for the day’s directions. Any wonder, we get confused along the way, not knowing where to go and what next to do. But, beloved, the Bible is so clear about this matter, it says in Proverbs 4:12, when you let God lead you,
SCRIPTURE: When you walk, your steps shall not be hampered [your path will be clear and open]; when you run, you shall not stumble. (Proverbs 4:12 AMP)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Moreso, the truth is, no matter how skilled, competent, and proficient we are, without God’s guidance and direction in our lives, we are lost. Divine guidance is undisputedly the greatest legacy of the children of God (Gen 28:15). God keeps us from many things that we never even know about. He directs us and keeps us safe lest we dash our foot against a stone (Psm 91:12). He provides for us and stirs us away from trouble. So, I want to strongly encourage you to always let God lead you (Jn 10:27).
Don’t leave your home in the morning without talking to God in prayer (Psm 5:3). Ask Him to lead you even as you go and come back (Ps 121:8). Commit your plans and goals into the hands of God (Prov. 16:3). Don’t take any major decision in your life without first of all, taking it to God in prayer (Prov. 3:5-6). Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: No matter how skilled, competent, and proficient we are, without God’s guidance and direction in our lives, we are lost.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, objectively learn to commit your life and plans to God, ask Him to lead you.
PRAYER: O LORD, I commit my life, my plans and my all into your mighty hands. Please lead me through, in Jesus’ name, Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: As you commit your life and plans to God, may the Lord guide you, direct and protect you and yours, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: Proverbs 4:12, John 10:27, Psalm 5:3
