We all worry so much, even in the little things that we shouldn’t worry about. Worry is the absence of trust and faith in the power of God. Many times, when we’re in distress, we would suggest alternative solutions before going to God in prayer. And when it seems the answer isn’t forthcoming, we’d pull out our suggested alternative. But this is the beginning of our trouble.
SCRIPTURE: Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. (Mathew 11:28) NIV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Whatever you’ve trusted in God’s hand, leave it with Him.
Beloved, when you’ve prayed and have done all that you needed to do, leave the rest to God, He knows what to do. You don’t go about helping God to find answers to your problems, you don’t suggest to Him. God is Omniscient, He knows what is best for you. Leaving it with God means trusting Him with every process and details of our lives, believing in His powers to save us. It suggests being patient with God, and trusting that He would always do to us that we can’t do to ourselves. Stay Lifted!
