TOPIC: YOUR JOY AND YOUR FULFILMENT
The things we pursue in life have everything to do with our joy and fulfilment. But the fact still remains that true joy and sincere satisfaction can only come from God, and not from the things that can only offer mere temporal gratification. So, in the light of this truth, let us pursue what makes for peace and would grow our joy and fulfilment (Rom 14:19). Even as the Bible encourages us same in 1 Cor 10:23, it says,
SCRIPTURE: “Everything is permissible,” but not everything is beneficial… (1Cor 10:23 BSB)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Again, seeking after “mere things” and making them our priority will make us miserable in the end. Instead let us consciously seek for God and His kingdom and righteousness, and it shall be well with us (Matt 6:33). Stay Refreshed and happy new Month!
NOTE THIS: We should be careful of what we seek, for the things we pursue in life have everything to do with our joy and fulfilment.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, seek for God and His kingdom and righteousness.
PRAYER: Oh Lord, You are my God! Cause me to see joy and fulfilment in life, even as I seek for You, in Jesus’s name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As you seek God in your life, may you find true joy and fulfilment in Him, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
