KEEPING THE RIGHT PERSPECTIVE

TIMES OF REFRESHING

ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL by Obiorah Prince Emeka

DATE: WEDNESDAY 18 NOVEMBER 2020

Sometimes in life, Christians are so set on having everything their way, they are disappointed if it doesn’t happen. Some become discouraged and may be threatened to give up in life. No matter how successful people are, they all face challenges in life. They encounter struggles and brawls when things don’t go their way. But God has a plan, with Him we are confident that He knows what is best for us.

SCRIPTURE:

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations, (Jeremiah 1:5) NIV

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:

Life is full of things that we don’t like. But in God is found promises to always trust on to overcome.

God knows your life from the beginning to the end. He knows where the rough roads are that will pose a challenge to you. You may have prayed for good job or promotion, open door, success in business or financial breakthrough. And it seems your prayers didn’t get answered, and things are not working well. It is easy to get you discouraged and lose hope. But God knows the best for you and he is working out everything to suit you.

God’s ways are better than our ways, (Isaiah 55:8). When we pray, we must trust God to provide the best answers for us. If we’re only expecting God to answer our prayers the way we want, then we’re not really trusting. We’re not praying, we’re giving God orders. But when we develop this trust and keep the right perspective, we let God do it His way.

Beloved, sometimes God allow things to happen or come our way to use it for our good. So, you don’t get upset nor frustrated when you don’t get answers to your prayers, you can only trust God and keeping the right mindset, believing that God is working out great and wonderful things out for your good. Stay Lifted!
