🔥Theme: Surrendering to God’s Refining and Shaping Process
God is the Potter, and we are the clay. His desire is to shape our lives into vessels that reflect His purpose and glory. This theme invites us to surrender to His hands—even when the process feels slow, uncomfortable, or unclear. On the Potter’s wheel, God removes what doesn’t belong, restores what is broken, and forms us into something new. As long as we remain surrendered, His shaping continues and His character is formed in us.
📖 Key Verse:
“But the pot He was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot…” — Jeremiah 18:4
Devotional:
When clay is on the wheel, it has no idea what the final vessel will look like—but the potter does. He sees the finished product long before the process begins. His hands shape the clay according to a vision the clay itself cannot understand. It is the same with God. You may look at your life and see only fragments or flaws. You may wonder why certain things are happening or why certain seasons feel slow. But God is shaping you according to a purpose you cannot yet see.

Jeremiah 18 reminds us that the Potter is not confused, not uncertain, and not guessing. He knows exactly what He is forming. What feels unclear to you is clear to Him. What feels unfinished to you is intentional to Him. What feels hidden to you is planned by Him. You don’t have to see the whole picture—just trust the Potter. You may not see the masterpiece yet, but the Potter does—and He is shaping you toward it. Stay Refreshed!
