Beloved, do you know that the greatest enemy to leading and sustaining God’s amazing life is a distraction. In simple terms, you would say that God’s amazing life is not for those who could easily lose sight of things that really matter in life. Therefore, if we must want to experience this amazing life, we must shun distraction and focus on what really matters. It begins with setting our priorities right and straight; and making them count. Any wonder, the Scripture says in Colossians 3:2,

SCRIPTURE: Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value]. (Col 3:2 AMP)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Again, God’s amazing life is not one that is void of challenges. Challenges will come, but when they show up in your life, don’t allow them to distract you nor sway you, still focus on what really matters. Once you remove distraction from your life, you will be on your way to living God’s amazing life. Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: When we’re focused on things and people that aren’t important to our growth and goals, they will only distract us and take away from our lives.

RESPONSIBILITY: So, learn to remain focused and always set your priorities straight.

PRAYER: Oh Lord, give me the grace to overcome distractions, and cause me to focus on the things that really matter most in my life, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

PROPHETIC WORD: As you commit to focus on the things that really matter most in life, may the Lord bless your efforts, keep you and sustain you, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
