HOW TO DEVELOP CONFIDENCE IN GOD

Having seen developing confidence in God and its importance, now let us look at the how’s or way’s we can develop confidence in God. The first thing we must do to develop confidence in God is to trust God. No man can ever have confidence in whom he does not trust. Trust is the very key to growing confidence. So, the Scripture says,
SCRIPTURE: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverb 3:5-6 NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: To trust in God means unreservedly expressing a firm belief and total faith in God. Completely depending on God’s ways, wholly believing in His Word, instructions, and directions, and ardently keeping His promises. If God has told you He will take care of your financial needs, then you should not be worried about the balance in your bank account. If God has said He will take away your diseases and infirmities, you don’t have to worry about the doctor’s report.
Or His Word says, ‘none shall miscarry her baby’, you don’t have to be afraid of complications. Because you know the God you serve, He is a covenant keeping God. So, keep on with Him, no shaking. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: No man can ever have confidence in whom he does not trust. Trust is the very key to growing confidence.
RESPONSIBILITY: So beloved, deliberately learn to trust in God.
PRAYER: O LORD, teach me to always trust in You. May I never trust in my abilities, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: As you learn to trust in God with all your heart, may He make your paths straight, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
