It has been confirmed that a person’s mindset sets the pace for his achievement in life and destiny. Having known that developing a possibility mindset is a belief that things are going to turn out well, and having the confidence in the power of God that you can overcome any kind of trouble or difficulty.
Now, we shall be looking at how to develop a possibility mindset.
SCRIPTURE:
Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things, (Colossians 3:2) NIV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:
Great minds attain greater goals and accomplish impossibilities.
HOW TO DEVELOP A POSSIBILITY MINDSET
1. Be optimistic and grow a positive attitude: Inculcate in you a possible-beliefs, instruct yourself to be confident and constructive in life. When others are saying, “It’s not possible”, continue to say “It’s possible”, (Job 22:29).
2. Identify and replace negative thoughts: Sanitize your heart, and mind what you think. Substitute negativity with possibility, (Prov. 4:23, 2 Cor. 10:5).
3. Identify and stick with positive people: You are the sum total of your friends. Friends play a big role development in life, if you hang around negatively minded people, you will most likely end up being negative yourself, (1 Cor. 15:33).
4. Mind what you say: Yes, your choice of word determines a lot when you’re trying to cultivate a possibility mindset. What you say is either largely influenced by what you feel or it goes to influence what you feel, (Eph. 4:29, Matt. 12:36-37).
5. Grow your mind and feed your spirit: The state of one’s mind influences his life. There are various ways to grow one’s mind—reading great books, listening to messages, CD’s of influential people and studying and meditating on the word of God.
Beloved, the approach you have towards life matters a lot. If you have a generally negative and impossible disposition towards life, you will find that your mind will seek out and amplify that which is negative and terrible around you. So, always be confident in life, even as you grow a possibility mindset. Stay Lifted.
