Holy Interruptions (7)

Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional

Date: Wednesday, 11 February 2026

Topic: Holy Interruptions (7)

Focus: When God Interrupts to Protect You

🔥Theme:

Not every disruption is an attack. Some interruptions are divine. This devotional series explores the moments when God steps into our routines, plans, and expectations—not to frustrate us, but to redirect us. These “holy interruptions” often come disguised as delays, detours, inconveniences, or unexpected changes. As you journey through this series, you’ll learn how to recognize God’s hand in interruptions, respond with faith instead of resistance, and discover purpose hidden in disruption.

📖 Key Verse: “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.”Proverbs 16:9

Devotional:

Not every interruption is a delay. Some are divine protection. There are moments when plans fall apart, doors close suddenly, or opportunities disappear—and we feel disappointed. But what if the interruption was God shielding you from something you could not see? In Scripture, God often redirected His people for their protection. He prevented Paul from entering certain regions. He redirected Israel away from dangerous routes. What felt inconvenient was actually merciful.

📖 Scripture Reading:

  • Acts 16:6–7 — God prevents a wrong path
  • Psalm 121:7–8 — The Lord preserves you
  • Proverbs 3:5–6 — Trusting God’s direction

💧 Refreshing for the Day:

Beloved, God sees the full picture. He knows hidden dangers. He protects in ways we do not always recognize immediately. Sometimes the blessing is not in the open door—but in the closed one. So, trust that God’s interruptions may be saving you from unseen harm and guiding you toward something better. Stay Refreshed!

Note This:

🛑 A closed door can be divine protection, not rejection.

🛡️ Responsibility:

Thank God today for one closed door—even if you don’t yet understand it.

🙏 Prayer:

Father, thank You for protecting me in ways I cannot always see. Help me trust You when plans change and doors close. I believe You are guiding and guarding my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

🔥 Prophetic Declaration:

God is protecting and directing my steps. Every interruption serves His purpose, and my life is safely held in His hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
