Yesterday, we saw that to journey to the top and remain there, we must make up our mind to overcome every negative narrative that’s ready to plunder our destiny. So, today we shall be looking at what we must do to overcome negative narratives, wrong norms and beliefs.
SCRIPTURE: Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. (Colossians 3:2) ESV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, no matter who you are, or what you do, if your ambition is to fulfil your dreams and become a better person, you will have to make up your mind to do away with those ineffectual norms you’ve had about yourself, your life and what you do. Create space for healthy self-reflection and contemplation (2 Cor 13:5), give yourself the permission to re-evaluate your ideals (Lam 3:40), be a person of prayer (1 Thess 5:16-18), create a new mind (Col 3:2) and embrace the emerging of new possibilities.
So beloved, now you know what to do to overcome negative narratives that don’t serve you anymore, why not forge on to doing them, and remember, greatness is waiting for you on the other side. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Stale norms and wrong patterns corrupt the mind, and when remain unchecked could destroy destiny.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, drop every decayed norm and wrong principle that you carry, and be intentional to overcome it.
PRAYER: O LORD, help me to drop every stale principle that I carry, and give me the grace to intentionally make efforts to overcome them all, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: Receive the grace to overcome every decayed norm, negative narratives and move on in life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
