Holy Interruptions (4)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Sunday, 8 February 2026
Topic: Holy Interruptions (4)
Focus: When Silence Is the Answer
🔥Theme:
Not every disruption is an attack. Some interruptions are divine. This devotional series explores the moments when God steps into our routines, plans, and expectations—not to frustrate us, but to redirect us. These “holy interruptions” often come disguised as delays, detours, inconveniences, or unexpected changes. As you journey through this series, you’ll learn how to recognize God’s hand in interruptions, respond with faith instead of resistance, and discover purpose hidden in disruption.
📖 Key Verse: “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” — Proverbs 16:9
Devotional:
There are moments when we pray, wait, listen—and hear nothing. No clear direction. No immediate response. Just silence. Silence can feel unsettling. We often assume it means God is distant or displeased. But Scripture shows that God’s silence is sometimes an answer in itself. It invites us to slow down, to trust more deeply, and to lean into relationship rather than instructions.
📖 Scripture Reading:
- Psalm 62:1 — Waiting quietly before God
- Lamentations 3:26 — Waiting silently for the Lord
- Job 23:8–10 — God is working even when unseen
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
God’s silence often teaches us to rely on His presence instead of His explanations. It shifts our faith from hearing to trusting. Silence does not mean abandonment. It often means God is doing a deeper work. In the quiet, God shapes our hearts, sharpens our discernment, and strengthens our dependence on Him. God’s silence invites deeper trust, not despair. Stay Refreshed!
✨ Note This:
🤍 Silence can be sacred when God is present.
🛡️ Responsibility:
Spend a few quiet moments today resting in God’s presence without asking for answers.
🙏 Prayer:
Father, help me trust You in the silence. Teach me to rest in Your presence even when I don’t hear clear direction. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
🔥 Prophetic Declaration:
I trust God even in silence. His presence is with me, and His purpose is still unfolding in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
