The Season Before the Bloom
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Friday, 5 June 2026
Topic: Buried Before Blooming (6)
Focus: The Season Before the Bloom
🔥Theme:
Why God often hides, covers, and buries what He intends to make flourish.
📖 Key Verse:
“Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.” — John 12:24
Devotional:
There is a unique season in the life of every seed—a season that comes just before it breaks through the surface. It is the closest it has ever been to blooming, yet from the outside, it still appears buried. Nothing looks different. No applause. No recognition. No visible signs of what is about to happen. Yet beneath the soil, the seed is preparing for emergence. This is often where many believers become discouraged. They have endured the darkness, survived the pressure, and trusted God through the hidden seasons. But because they cannot yet see the bloom, they assume nothing is changing. What they do not realize is that God often does His final preparations just before breakthrough.
📖 Scripture Reading:
- Galatians 6:9 — Do not grow weary in doing good
- Habakkuk 2:3 — The vision awaits its appointed time
- Psalm 126:5–6 — Sowing in tears, reaping with joy
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
The greatest temptation in this season is to quit. To stop praying. To stop believing. To stop expecting. But the seed that gives up one inch below the surface never experiences the sunlight waiting above it. So, beloved, do not abandon your faith in the season before the bloom. You may be closer than you think. The God who planted you has not forgotten you. The same God who buried you is the God who will bring you forth. What is hidden today may become visible tomorrow. Hold on. Your bloom has an appointed time. The hardest season to endure is often the season closest to breakthrough. Stay Refreshed!
✨ Note This:
🌷 Just because you cannot see the bloom does not mean it is not coming.
🛡️ Responsibility:
Remain faithful in the hidden season. Refuse to quit simply because you cannot yet see the result.
🙏 Prayer:
Father, strengthen my heart in this season. When I grow tired of waiting, remind me that You are faithful. Help me remain steadfast and hopeful, knowing that Your timing is perfect. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
🔥 Prophetic Declaration:
I will not quit before my season arrives. God is bringing me toward His appointed time. What He planted will bloom, and what He promised will come to pass. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
