HOLD YOUR PEACE

TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL

DATE: WEDNESDAY 10 MARCH 2021

SERIES: YOU ARE NOT YOUR PROBLEM

It’s easy to be worried when things are not going the way we planned. And sometimes we’re waiting for circumstances to change before we could be at rest. “If I could get that promotion, I’ll be the happiest person on earth.” “Not until I have a male child, then I’ll be at peace”. Beloved, you are not your problem, situation or circumstances doesn’t have the right to determine your state of peace. You don’t have to wait to be promoted or have a male child before you could be happy or be at peace.

Whatever situation that may arise, don’t let it contaminate your peacetime. Hold your peace and remain at rest! When you remain at rest, God will fight your battles. He’ll take care of your enemies, he’ll pay you back for the unfair things, and He’ll give you beauty for those ashes, (Isa 61:3).

SCRIPTURE: The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace, (Exodus 14:14) KJV

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: You control what you can control, and trust God to take care of what you can’t control.

The scripture says in (Psalm 94:13), “God has given you the power to remain calm in times of adversity”. When trouble comes, you don’t have to get upset. When your plans don’t work out, you don’t have to fall apart, you are not the cause. Your business is shaking, you don’t have to get offended. If you have done your own, all you have to do is to hold your peace and remain calm. You can’t rule over all your circumstances, that’s not up to you, that’s in God’s hands. Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: You control what you can control, and trust God to take care of what you can’t control.

RESPONSIBILITY: When you’ve done all you could do, trust God to take care of what you couldn’t do.

PRAYER:  O LORD, I trust in You. Cause me to remain calm in the times of adversities, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)

PROPHETIC WORD: May the Lord answer and deliver you in times of trouble, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
