GOD IS UP TO SOMETHING
TIMES OF REFRESHING
ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL
DATE: FRIDAY 5 FEBRUARY 2021
We’ve seen God’s blessing in the past, we know we have His favor, but swiftly it feels like that favor has been taken away. There are times we experience closed doors: all of a sudden someone is given a quit notice to vacate the house, things begin to take bad shape.
Beloved, know this, whenever you are prayerful, obedience and in the right stand with God, and strange things are happening to you, God is up to something. God will put an end to what doesn’t make sense to us, so He can replace it with great favor. God will never remove something, unless He has something better coming. If He didn’t stop certain things, we would dwell in it and would slip our destiny.
SCRIPTURE:
See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? (Isaiah 43:19) NIV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:
Sometimes when something ceases in your life, it’s an indication that increase is coming.
God never stops something, unless he has greater provision on the way. When God supernatural brought the people of Israel out of Egypt, He fed them daily with manna from heaven. When they got close to the promised land, something interesting happened. The scripture says in Joshua 5:12, the manna ceased and they never saw the manna again.
The people weren’t too happy about it, they complained and murmured, but God is up to something. Sooner they knew it, they began to enjoy the plenty of the land. Just like the people of Israel, that thing that dried up in your life is a sign that you are close to your promised land. I counsel you, when things go wrong, instead of being discouraged, be patient and put your trust in God. Soonest giants are about to be defeated and God is taking you to a greater height. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS:
Sometimes when something ceases in your life, it’s an indication that increase is coming.

O LORD, I trust in you. Help my life and do something new in my life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
