GO BACK TO THE PROMISES
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: SUNDAY, 7 NOVEMBER 2021
We all have promises that God has put in our heart. Things we know He has spoken to us through His Word. God has promised, we’re going to accomplish a dream (Ex 23:26), overcome an illness (Ps 91:10), meet the right partner. He has promised we shall be the first and not the last, (Deut. 28:13). At one time we knew it was going to happen, we were praying and believing. But when it’s taking longer than we thought, our heart begins to grow cold. But the Scripture says;
SCRIPTURE: For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. (2 Corinthians 1:20) NIV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: We’re surrounded with things that make the promises look like a mirage. So many challenges that have formed a negative thought in us. Too often we left those thoughts drown out what God has spoken to us. But Beloved, truthfully speaking, if you’re going to lead a great life, fulfil your mandate on earth, and make a mark on your generation, you have to go back to the promises. Remember what God has spoken to you, pull them through and keep them at the forefront of your mind, stay in faith and you will see them come to pass. Stay Lifted!
NOTE THIS: Every God’s promise in our life finds “Yes” in Christ.
RESPONSIBILITY: Go back to God’s Word, that’s the promise. And His Word will never lie.
PRAYER: O LORD, I believe in Your promises. May they be done to me according to Your Word, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: May every Word God has spoken over your life come to pass SPEEDILY, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: 2 Cor. 1:20, Ex 23:26, Deut. 28:13, Ps 91:10
