So, beloved, to experience intimacy with Christ is to embark on a journey of discovery, where every step draws us closer to the heart of God. It is in the stillness of prayer that we find communion with Him, pouring out our hearts and listening for His gentle whisper. It is in the pages of Scripture that His voice comes alive, illuminating our path and revealing His character.
SCRIPTURE: “Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” — Psalm 73:25-26 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Yet, intimacy with Christ is not confined to sacred spaces or holy moments; it permeates every aspect of our lives. It is found in the ordinary tasks as much as in the extraordinary moments. It is in the laughter of friends, the tears of sorrow, and the quiet whispers of hope. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: As we journey deeper into intimacy with Christ, we find that He is the source of all our strength, the anchor of our souls, and the sustainer of our faith.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, let us embrace intimacy with Christ, for in Him, we discover a love that knows no bounds, a grace that covers all our sins, and a peace that surpasses all understanding.
PRAYER: Gracious God, thank You for the invitation to intimacy, for drawing us near to Your heart. Help us to cultivate a deep love for You, above all else. May we find comfort in Your presence, strength in Your embrace, and guidance in Your wisdom. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
