DOUBLE FOR YOUR TROUBLE

Beloved, there are many things that can happen to us that are not so pleasant. The enemy may want to bring us down and put us to shame. And that can make it so difficult for us to grasp the idea of serving God in peace and leading a great life. But I have good news for you, whatever the enemy has done to bring you down and all the evil legislations plotted against you to bring shame and disgrace to you, God is turning it around in your favor, and He will give you double for your trouble. For it is written in Isaiah 61:7,
SCRIPTURE: Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours. (Isaiah 61:7 NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, do not be afraid, for you will not be put to shame; do not be intimidated, for you will not be humiliated (Isaiah 54:4). If the Lord has said it, surely, He will do it. You will rejoice in your endeavor, and the joy of the Lord will be your portion forever. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Don’t let your present trouble make you glum and deter you from serving the Lord. Always know this, God will not shame you.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, I strongly encourage you, hold on to God, and the rest would be a story.
PRAYER: O LORD, thank You for Your Word today. So, I receive double for my trouble, in Jesus’ name, Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: May the Lord be gracious to you and cause His face to shine upon you and yours, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
