Beloved, I would sincerely wish to draw your attention to this statement once again, it says, “You are like undiscovered land that holds great treasures, but until you discover yourself, you may live the whole of your life searching for what is right under your nose”. You see, this statement got me thinking aloud, “what will make a man to have great treasures, yet he is scampering around searching for them”? But the answer is ignorance, lack of knowledge. Any wonder the Bible says in Hosea 4:6,
SCRIPTURE: My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me… (Hosea 4:6 ESV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: It is only lack of knowledge that would make a man to have great potentials, abilities and unmatched talents deposited inside of him, yet he goes on struggling to succeed in life. But then again, sometimes we are the cause of our problems. We think we can discover who we truly are without the help of God. But until we understand that the fundamentals of becoming the person God made us to be, begins with the knowledge of God. That’s why Jesus said in John 15:5, “…for apart from me you can do nothing.”
So, when we try to do things that only God can do, we’ll just struggle. But when we live in His grace, spending regular time with Him in prayer and Bible study, giving Him control of every part of our lives—we will begin to discover and becoming who God wants us to be, even as we soar higher in life. Stay Refreshed!
