DISCERNING AND BEING IN THE CENTER OF GOD’S WILL (4)

Similarly, the will of God is supreme and absolute (Psm 33:11). What we may feel or think about a thing, if it’s not the will of God for our life, it will never be the will of God. The will of God is what God has ordained for us to become, it’s not what we like or what we feel to become. This is why many people are living in error. And they are so poised about it. When it’s raised, they would point to the Eccl 9:10, “Whatever your hands find to do, do it with all your might…” So, they would motivationally continue to toil and toil in vain. However, let’s not forget the counsel of Proverbs 19:21; it says,
SCRIPTURE: Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails. (Proverbs 19:21 NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, when we carefully learn about the word “whatever” in Ecclesiastes 9:10, we will find it is consonant and agreeable to “the purpose of God” in Proverbs 19:21. Therefore, it insistently means “whatever we must do must be in accordance with the will of God”. So, beloved, let’s be guided. Do not go on and continue to engage yourself over what you feel or what you like, but rather seek to know what the will of God for your life is and commit to it. We will continue tomorrow, but till then, Stay Refreshed!

RESPONSIBILITY: So, seek to know the counsel of the Lord for your life, than employing trial and error approach lifestyle.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to discern and remain in the center of Your will for my life, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: May the Lord help you and cause you to discern and remain in the center of His will all the days of your life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
