DISCERNING AND BEING IN THE CENTER OF GOD’S WILL (3)

TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org

DATE: WEDNESDAY, 23 NOVEMBER 2022

So, when a person remains in the center of God’s will, God causes everything he does to flourish (Ps 1:3) and would provoke the lines of favor and every good thing to fall in pleasant places for him (Ps 16:6). But, beloved, the big question is, how then do we discern and remain in the center of God’s will for our life? Let us revert again to the Word of God to Isaac in Genesis 26:2-3,

SCRIPTURE: “Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land where I tell you to live (Gen 26:2). Stay in this land for a while, and I will be with you and will bless you. (Genesis 26:2-3 NIV)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: From the above verses of the anchor Scripture, it significantly showed that for one to discern and remain in the center of God’s will for his life, there must be a clear and precise instruction from God, and he must be willing to follow and strictly adhere to such instructions. Such instruction and direction could come in diverse ways, however, maximum attention and care must be exercised to comprehend it. Just like Isaac and other men in the Scripture discerned and remained in the center of God’s will and they succeeded, let us make concerted efforts through prayers to do the same. Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: When a person remains in the center of God’s will, God causes everything he does to flourish (Ps 1:3) and would provoke the lines of favor and every good thing to fall in pleasant places for him (Ps 16:6).

RESPONSIBILITY: So, go to God in prayers, ask Him for the grace to discern and remain in the center of His will for your life.

PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to discern and remain in the center of Your will for my life, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

PROPHETIC WORD: May the Lord help you mercy and cause you to discern and remain in the center of His will all the days of your life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!

BIBLE TEXTS: Genesis 26:1-13, Ps 1:1-3; 16:6
