DANGERS OF MISPLACED PRIORITIES

TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org

DATE: FRIDAY, 1 OCTOBER 2021

It has been established that life in Christ Jesus should not just take the first place in our life, but also should be the top most priority in our life and destiny. We also saw that until we place life in Christ our top most priority, we may do everything but will not achieve anything. Now, we shall be looking at the dangers of misplaced priorities.

SCRIPTURE: “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5) NKJV

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, the most dangerous thing about misplaced priority is that a person may engage in it without knowing it. He may be a very focused person, but he is focused on the wrong thing. He will employ all kinds of strategy, exert all his energy on what he does, but he may never get the desired result.

It’s not that he doesn’t want to achieve results, it’s just that he did not place Christ the basis and source of all results first in his life. When a person places other things first and prioritize them over the life in Christ, no matter what he does, and how perfect he thinks he could do it, failure is unavoidable. For no matter how fast, we travel on a wrong road, we will never get to our desired destination. Stay Lifted!

NOTE THIS: A Life absent of life in Christ as the first and real priority is void and accomplishes nothing at the end.

RESPONSIBILITY: Make Jesus Christ your topmost priority in life, and everything will fall in pleasant places for you.

PRAYER: O LORD, I make you the topmost priority in my life. Please cause me not to swerve from this decision, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)

PROPHETIC WORD: As you prioritize life in Christ top in your life; may God’s undiluted favor locates you and yours, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!

BIBLE TEXTS: John 14:6, 15:5

  • You are so awesome! I don’t believe I’ve read a single thing like that before. So good to find another person with unique thoughts on this subject matter. Really.. thank you for starting this up. This web site is one thing that is needed on the web, someone with a bit of originality!

  • Howdy! I could have sworn I’ve been to this blog before but after reading through some of the post I realized it’s new to me. Anyhow, I’m definitely happy I found it and I’ll be book-marking and checking back often!

  • One thing I have actually noticed is that there are plenty of common myths regarding the finance institutions intentions while talking about foreclosures. One misconception in particular would be the fact the bank wishes to have your house. The lender wants your hard earned money, not the house. They want the money they gave you together with interest. Preventing the bank will still only draw some sort of foreclosed realization. Thanks for your article.

  • Wonderful blog! I found it while surfing around on Yahoo News. Do you have any tips on how to get listed in Yahoo News? I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem to get there! Appreciate it

  • I have learned newer and more effective things through the blog post. One other thing to I have seen is that usually, FSBO sellers will probably reject you actually. Remember, they will prefer never to use your services. But if a person maintain a gentle, professional relationship, offering aid and remaining in contact for around four to five weeks, you will usually have the capacity to win an interview. From there, a listing follows. Thank you

  • I have recently started a website, the information you offer on this site has helped me greatly. Thank you for all of your time & work.
