COME TO JESUS WHILE THERE’S TIME (6)

TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org

DATE: MONDAY, 24 JULY 2023

So, beloved, let’s not presumed that this call to Jesus is for a certain set of people. No, it’s for all of us. To the broken and hurting; it’s a message of relief. Jesus is a compassionate Savior who extends His love to the broken-hearted, the weary, and those burdened with pain and suffering. Those who are experiencing trials, grief, or emotional distress can find solace and healing in the presence of Jesus. As it’s written in Psalm 34:18,

SCRIPTURE: The LORD is close to the broken-hearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed. (Psalm 34:18 NIV)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: To the depressed, it’s a message of encouragement. Those who are searching for meaning, purpose, and truth in life are encouraged to come to Jesus. Many individuals feel a void in their hearts that material possessions, success, or relationships cannot fill. Jesus invites those who seek fulfillment and satisfaction to find their rest in Him (Matthew 11:28-30). To all of us the sinners, it’s a message of hope and reconciliation. You see, none of us are without sin, and the Bible affirms that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). So, the call to come to Jesus while there’s time is for those burdened by their sin, seeking forgiveness and reconciliation with God through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross (1 John 1:9). Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: Many people feel a void in their hearts that material possessions, success, or relationships cannot fill. Jesus is all they need to find satisfaction in life.

RESPONSIBILITY: So, beloved, let’s all come to Jesus and join hands together to spread the gospel of salvation.

PRAYER: O Lord Jesus, I have come to You, help my life, and give me the grace to follow You and never go back again, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!

PROPHETIC WORD: As you come to Jesus, may you find peace and satisfaction in Him, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!

BIBLE TEXTS: Psalm 34:18, Matthew 11:28-30, Rom 3:23, 1 John 1:9
