CARRIERS OF HIS PRESENCE — HOSTING THE GLORY OF GOD (3)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Friday, 30 May 2025
Topic: Carriers of His Presence – Hosting the Glory of God (3)
Focus: Making Room for His Presence
Message:
God is not seeking just moments of visitation—He is seeking habitation. In a generation chasing platforms, popularity, and quick encounters, God is looking for hearts that will host Him. Like the house of Obed-Edom, where the ark of God rested, your life can become a sanctuary for His presence. This devotional series is a prophetic invitation to cultivate a life that draws, welcomes, and sustains the glory of God. It is for those who long to become dwelling places—temples of divine habitation, not occasional visitation.
📖 Key Verse:
2 Samuel 6:11 – “The ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-Edom… and the Lord blessed him.”
Devotional:
God doesn’t force Himself into places where He’s not welcomed. He comes where He is wanted. Hosting His presence begins with making room—not just physically, but spiritually and emotionally. In 2 Kings 4:10, the Shunammite woman told her husband, “Let’s make a small room on the roof and put in it a bed, a table, a chair and a lamp for him. Then he can stay there whenever he comes to us.” Because she made room for the prophet, a miracle came into her life. But beyond that, she teaches us a prophetic principle: when we prepare space for God, we attract divine encounters.
📖 Scripture Reading:
Revelation 3:20 – “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock…”
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
So, beloved, is your life too cluttered for God’s glory? Have distractions and busyness choked out your altar? You don’t need to be perfect—just available. The presence of God fills the space you give Him. Clean the room of your heart. Clear the noise. Let Him dwell—not visit. Revival doesn’t begin in a crowded heart. It starts in a prepared one. Stay Refreshed!
✨ Note This:
God comes where He is wanted—and stays where He is honored.
