Message:
God is not seeking just moments of visitation—He is seeking habitation. In a generation chasing platforms, popularity, and quick encounters, God is looking for hearts that will host Him. Like the house of Obed-Edom, where the ark of God rested, your life can become a sanctuary for His presence. This devotional series is a prophetic invitation to cultivate a life that draws, welcomes, and sustains the glory of God. It is for those who long to become dwelling places—temples of divine habitation, not occasional visitation.
📖 Key Verse:
2 Samuel 6:11 – “The ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-Edom… and the Lord blessed him.”
Devotional:
Obed-Edom wasn’t a priest. He wasn’t famous. He didn’t hold a pulpit. But when the ark of God—the very symbol of His glory—rested in his home, everything changed. For three months, his house was saturated with the presence of God, and the Bible says, “the Lord blessed him and his entire household” (2 Samuel 6:11). What made Obed-Edom different? He didn’t treat the presence casually. Where others mishandled the ark and died (like Uzzah), Obed-Edom honored the presence—and it brought life, favor, and transformation.
