Breaking Through the Barriers (3)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Tuesday, 2 September 2025
Topic: Breaking Through the Barriers (3)
Focus: Barriers of Fear and Doubt
🔥 Message:
Life is full of barriers—sin, fear, doubt, generational strongholds, spiritual opposition, and even self-imposed limits. These barriers stand like walls, blocking us from the fullness of God’s promises. But we serve the Breaker—the One who goes before us, shattering walls, opening gates, and making a way where there seems to be none. So, beloved, through repentance, prayer, and faith, every barrier can fall. This devotional series will stir your faith to partner with God—the Breaker—to see obstacles removed, chains shattered, and breakthrough released in every area of your life.
📖 Key Verse:
Micah 2:13 (NIV): “The One who breaks open will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out. Their King will pass through before them, the Lord at their head.”
Devotional:
Fear and doubt are some of the enemy’s most effective barriers. They don’t just paralyze your faith—they stop you from stepping into the promises of God. When Israel stood before the Red Sea, fear made them cry out, “It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!” (Exodus 14:12). But Moses declared: “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today.”
—Exodus 14:13 Fear builds walls in the mind; doubt locks gates in the heart. But faith opens the way.
📖 Scripture Reading:
Exodus 14:13 – “Do not be afraid. Stand firm…”
Numbers 13:30 – “We can certainly do it.”
2 Timothy 1:7 – “For God has not given us a spirit of fear…”
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
Joshua and Caleb broke through when they declared, “We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it!” (Numbers 13:30). The Breaker goes before you, but fear will keep you standing still. Faith, however, moves you forward through barriers into breakthrough. Fear builds walls, but faith breaks them down. Stay Refreshed!
✨ Note This:
🔥 The presence of fear is not the absence of faith—but faith must speak louder.
🛡️ Responsibility:
✅ Identify one area where fear or doubt has kept you stagnant. Declare God’s promise over that area and take one step of faith today.
🙏 Prayer:
Lord, I reject fear and doubt. Fill me with faith that moves mountains. Teach me to trust Your promises more than my feelings. I choose faith over fear. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
🔥 Prophetic Declaration:
I will not be bound by fear or doubt! I move forward in faith, and every barrier standing before me crumbles in Jesus’ name. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
📖 Bible Texts:
Micah 2:13, Numbers 13:30, 2 Timothy 1:7, Exodus 14:13
