BE COURAGEOUS, GOD WILL HONOR YOU
TIMES OF REFRESHING
ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL by Obiorah Prince Emeka
DATE: WEDNESDAY 21 OCTOBER 2020
Every now and then many Christians feel discouraged and downcast about life. The more their good deeds pile, the less they are appreciated. One may begin to think that evil is prevailing. But God has a way of working in the life of men that people can never understand.
The ways of God are not the ways of men. When we might feel that all hope is gone, God is at work for us, bringing about events we could not imagine, to honor us.
SCRIPTURE:
…the king said, “What should I do to honor a man who truly pleases me?”, (Esther 6:6) NLT
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:
When it is time to honor a man, God designs a platform for his lifting.
From our anchor scripture, starting from vs (1), the Providence of God rules over the smallest concerns of men. And everyone’s deeds would never go unrewarded. When it is time for God to honor His faithful, no protocol can stop it. It further demonstrates that when Providence has a design to serve, He looks for a subject, withholds sleep from him and commission him to fulfils His mandate.
Beloved, just as God chose the King, denied him sleep to honor Mordecai; may He cause all your destiny helpers to have no sleep until they honor you. And as Hamman went about plotting against Mordecai; all those who enrage for you and plot your downfall, may God employ them as an instrument to honor you.
I pray for you, as men gossip your name around in anger to bring you down, God will turn them around in your favor to honor you. As they plan your ruin, may heaven dispense their downfall, Amen. Stay Lifted!
NOTE THIS:
When it is time to honor a man, God designs a platform for his lifting.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Refuse to be discouraged, bless the name of God for He has honor you.
PRAYER:
O LORD, thank you for honoring me, in Jesus name, Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD:
May God frustrate every crafty devices of the enemy to pull you and your family down, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
