TIMES OF REFRESHING

ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL by Obiorah Prince Emeka

DATE: FRIDAY 30 OCTOBER 2020

We live in a world full of challenges and many Christians’ faith sizzle out after a few periods of not seeing any results in their prayer life? Some regard prayers as a mere formality, a vain repetition of words with little heart and passion in them. But that’s an error.

Hear this, to achieve that which you really desire most in life, you must learn to persist at the place of prayer.

SCRIPTURE:

As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning, (Exodus 17:11) NIV

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:

Allowing your praying knee to get weak is surrendering your destiny to vain sake.

Our anchor scripture establishes that there’s power in consistence prayer. The Amalekites came and attacked the Israelites at Rephidim. So, Moses said to Joshua, “Choose some of our men and go out to fight the Amalekites. Tomorrow I will stand on the hilltop with the staff of God in my hand”. Joshua did as Moses instructed him and fought against the Amalekites, (vs 9-10). Aaron and Hur were holding Moses hand.

Beloved, the holding of Moses’ hands is tarrying at the place of prayer. And so long as your praying knees is not weak, you shall continue to record unprecedented victories in your life. Note that when Moses’ hand grew weary, they supported him with a stone. Whenever your praying knees are getting weak, trust God and find strength in Him, and it shall be well with you. Stay Lifted!

NOTE THIS:

Allowing your praying knee to get weak is surrendering your destiny to vain sake.

RESPONSIBILITY:

Don’t give up easily in your prayer life.

PRAYER:

O LORD, I receive anointing for prayer and intercession on my knees NOW, in Jesus name, Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)

PROPHETIC WORD:

May God answer you when you pray, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
