Sometimes the enemy doesn’t have to put us on the side lines, we put ourselves on the side line. We patronize reasons why we shouldn’t thrust forward and succeed in life. We think, “I can’t do anything great, because my family isn’t well to do”, “Well, I have this problem with my height and skin color, that’s why I’m disqualified and at a disadvantage”. But the Scripture encourages us to put on God’s approval as our breastplate.
SCRIPTURE: …Put on God’s approval as your breastplate. (Ephesians 6:14) GWT
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Quit taking inventory of everything you don’t like about yourself, and begin to approve yourself. Listen beloved, there’s a lot right about you. I don’t know what you patronize and you see them as reasons to feel short-changed? But whatever it is, I can tell you with confidence, you’re not at a disadvantage. No matter how terrible it might make you feel, it will not disqualify you from the amazing future God has for you.
All you’ve got to do is, start focusing on the good, get rid of guilt, quit beating yourself up and don’t go around feeling bad about yourself. Start approving yourself and don’t let anything make you feel that you’re at a disadvantage. Stay Lifted!
