YOU’RE ANOINTED TO BE YOU
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: WEDNESDAY 5 MAY 2021
Sometimes we’re fighting who we are, trying to be like someone else. This is a fallacy, in fact a total misconstruction of the highest order. It has caused division, separation, detestation and jealousy among the people of God. When God created you, He deposited in you everything you need to be yourself and anointed you to do exploit, (Gen 1:28).
Here is the key: who you are, is you. It’s who you are created to be. So, you owe God the obligation to live out in full who you are created to be, and not wishing you were something different.
SCRIPTURE: Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations. (Jeremiah 1:5) ESV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Becoming who you’re anointed to be eliminates struggle in life, and inspires unity in diversity.
Beloved, when you compare and think you have to be like someone else, you feel disadvantaged. God has given you what you need to fulfill your destiny. He has given you different gifts, different personalities, different temperaments. If you needed a different personality or gifts, God would have given it to you. So, you have to accept who God made you to be, and make effort to grow and improve who you are.
There’s not another person in this world like you, and nobody can be you. You’re anointed to be you, and not someone else. The anointing and the favor on your life, is to be you. You won’t activate the favor, if you’re trying to be something that you’re not. Stay Lifted!
NOTE THIS: Becoming who you’re anointed to be eliminates struggle in life, and inspires unity in diversity.
RESPONSIBILITY: Be confident about yourself. Make efforts to grow and improve who God made you to be.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to be who you created me to be, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: Receive the grace of right accomplishment, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
