YOUR WORD IS YOUR POSSESSION (PART 2)

TIMES OF REFRESHING

ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL by Obiorah Prince Emeka

DATE: WEDNESDAY 4 NOVEMBER 2020

It has been confirmed that a person’s confession determines his possession in life. Your life is a sum total of the words you’ve spoken. What you say is what you get. In other words, what you confess you will possess.

Previously, we looked at the implications of negative words people speak, and now we shall be looking at some key thoughts about one’s confession.

SCRIPTURE:

You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; So, light will shine on your ways, (Job 22:28) NKJV.

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:

Your confession determines your manifestation in life.

Life and death are in the power of our tongues, Proverbs 18:21; whether we choose to speak negative or positive we will bear the fruit of our words. Don’t let negative speech short-circuit your breakthrough. So Be careful what you confess because that is what you will possess.

KEY THOUGHTS TO NOTE ABOUT THE WORDS YOU SPEAK

1.    Your words set the tone of your life: If you don’t like the life you live today, use your word to set your life on the path of change you desire, (Job 22:28).

2.    Guarding your mouth from evil keeps you from trouble: Whoever guards his mouth and tongue Keeps his soul from troubles, (Proverbs 21:23).

3.    Many of life’s troubles are the results of words we’ve spoken.

4.    You are justified or condemned by the words you speak, (Matthew 12:36-37).

5.    Negative speaking hinders God’s desire to bring His Word to pass in your life (Malachi 3:13).

Beloved, your life is like a garden, and the words you speak is the water. So, water the garden of your life with positive words. The more positive words you speak over your life, the greener your life garden becomes.

Whatever condition you are into, do not allow your condition to determine your destination. Even though your condition may not look positive, still speak words of faith and positive words. Stay Lifted!

NOTE THIS:

Your confession determines your manifestation in life.

RESPONSIBILITY:

Consider every word you speak. Don’t pervert your words. Take the time to think before you speak.

PRAYER:

O LORD, I repent from every negative word I said upon my life in ignorance. I confess that I am an overcomer, in Jesus name, Amen! (Go ahead and begin to confess positively upon your life now)

PROPHETIC WORD:

Every negative word professed upon your life; I avert them NOW by FIRE, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
