YOUR STEPS ARE BEING ORDERED BY THE LORD

TIMES OF REFRESHING

ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL

 DATE: SUNDAY 31 JANUARY 2021

As we keep on staying close to God, believing and trusting in Him; He surely always directs our steps. Many times, strange things would happen to us, we would begin to shake and say, “God why, But I pray all the time, why would this happen to me?” We all go through things in life that doesn’t make sense to us, but it makes sense in the eyes of the Lord. God’s ways are not our ways, (Isa 55:8). He orders our steps. He knows what is the best for us, and He is in the business of making sure everything is working out for our own good.

SCRIPTURE:

A person’s steps are directed by the Lord. How then can anyone understand their own way? (Proverbs 20:24) NIV

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:

Most things that worry us is the same thing God uses to bless us.

Beloved, that person that left you it was hurtful, but it wasn’t just their choice: God moved them out of the way so he could bring someone better. Those struggles and painful experience you had, though it hurts, but what you couldn’t see is: it was growing you up, developing your character, getting you stronger, more confident, more determined. Without it you wouldn’t be prepared for the blessing, the increase, the new levels that are coming your way.

So, the next time you face some ugly situations, don’t let it break you down, don’t live worried, just be bold and say, “God, I don’t understand it, but I trust you. I know you’re in control, you’re working all things for my good, I will stay in peace knowing that you will get me to where I’m supposed to be”. Stay Lifted!
