It’s said that people with great minds fulfil their destinies, while people with little minds struggle at theirs. So, this statement got me thinking out so loud. “What characteristics or personality could a man have that would make him so stand out and be distinguished as ‘a great mind’?” And insights from the Scripture started guiding and shaping my thought, and I discovered that such people are very careful how they live, not as unwise but wise people (Ephesians 5:15). They don’t take the matters of destiny so lightly, and they also understand that their destiny is waiting on them. Consequently, the apostle Paul capped my curiosity with his counsel in 1 Cor. 14:20, he said,
SCRIPTURE: Dear brothers and sisters, don’t be childish in your understanding of these things… but be mature in understanding matters of this kind. (1 Corinthians 14:20 NLT)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, beloved, if you want to lead a successful life and accomplish your destiny, you will need to develop a new mindset. Create a winning attitude that keeps you inspired even when the going is so tough. A such mind that keeps pushing you and make you stay on course until your goals and purpose are fulfilled. It makes you so dogged and committed to results even in the midst of uncertainties. And that’s the mind you need to accomplish your destiny. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: If you want to sustain your commitment to fulfilling your goals and purpose in life, you will need to develop a new mind of purpose.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, go to God in prayers, ask Him to give you a new mindset, a mind of purpose.
PRAYER: Oh Lord, give me a new mindset, a mind to remain committed to my goals and purpose in life, in Jesus’s name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: May the Lord help your life and give you the mind of purpose, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
