Life is full of choices and the decision you make decides your destiny. We, as children of God, must learn to make wise choices. Many of us don’t understand the importance of the choices that we make, and the effects they have in our lives.
John C. Maxwell wrote, “Life is a matter of choices, and every choice you make makes you.” What we need to realize is that each and every day, we make numerous choices that influence the outcome of all areas of our lives.
SCRIPTURE:
Now listen! Today I am giving you a choice between life and death, between prosperity and disaster, (Deuteronomy 30:15) NLT
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:
The choices you make determines your wellbeing in life.
The fact from our anchor scripture shows that God doesn’t will harm or bad for anyone, but He has given us all a choice. Because of poor lifestyle choices, people personally suffer and create suffering for others.
Ultimately, God’s primary purpose for us is that we be like Christ, He is the resurrection and life, (John 11:25). We are encouraged to choose Him, even as we make our decisions rooted in Him and in His Word.
Beloved, the thought of God for us is for good and not of evil. This fact does not necessarily wipe away the consequences of our poor decisions or the poor decisions of others. What are you still waiting for? Choose Life! Choose Christ! Stay Lifted.
NOTE THIS:
The choices you make determines your wellbeing in life.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Consciously decide to always choose life in Christ.
PRAYER:
O LORD, open my eyes and give me the grace, to always make the right choice in life, in Jesus name, Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD:
Let the light of God dispel every darkness of negative choices in your life, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
