YOU ONLY NEED JESUS

Many times, in life we focus on the things that are not necessary and would not even make any sincere meaning to us. While in honesty, we don’t need them. We only need Jesus. Yes, beloved, this is true. You only need Jesus. Let’s us turn our Bible to John chapter 5, and the story of the crippled man at the pool of Bethesda will better inform us on this matter. This man has been crippled for over thirty-eight years, and he was lying beside the pool with other sick people waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had. 

When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be healed?”

SCRIPTURE: For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13 NKJV)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: On the question, the man began to cry and complained, “I had no one to get me to the pool, when the water is stirred.” So, beloved, my point is this. Those times in your troubles, Jesus is asking you; “do you want me to help you?” He’s not asking about who’s helping you and who’s not helping you. Or who’s getting in your way and who’s not. Jesus is asking about you. The crippled man didn’t need the pool to be healed, He needed Jesus. And Jesus healed him. So, you don’t need anything else, you only need Jesus. Why not call upon Him today and He will answer you (Jer 33:3). Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: There’re too many unnecessary things that bother you so much in life; you don’t need them, you only need Jesus.

RESPONSIBILITY: So, call upon Jesus NOW and He will answer you.

PRAYER: O JESUS, come into my life, hear me and answer me, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

PROPHETIC WORD: May the Lord answer you when you call Him, and help you, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
