YOU DON’T HAVE TO FIGHT EVERYTHING (2)

Yesterday, as God helped us, we were able to establish that there’s nothing wrong in praying away trouble or difficulty, but everything is wrong when we fail to understand what God is saying while we’re in the trouble. So today, we shall be delving further into the matter, even as we draw more insights from the Scripture of Isaiah 43:2.

SCRIPTURE: When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. (Isaiah 43:2) NLT

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, most of the time we’re praying, “God deliver me of this challenge, get me out of this trouble”. But what we don’t know is that, sometimes the miracle is not in delivering us of whatever challenge we’re into, it’s in what God is going to do while we’re in the challenge. It’s interesting to see from our anchor Scripture that God didn’t say “I’ll get you out of every deep waters, I’ll get you out of every fire of oppression, I’ll deliver you of every rivers of difficulty”.

No, He said, “I will be with you when you go through deep waters, when you go through the fire of oppression, when you go through rivers of difficulty”. The watch word there is, “I’ll be with you”. The true power of God is made manifest when you’re in that challenge, you would never know His power if you have never experienced though difficulty. When you invite God in your challenge, He comes in, and when He brings you out, no one will be able to deny that His favor is on you. Stay Lifted!

NOTE THIS: Sometimes the miracle is not in delivering us of whatever challenge we’re into, it’s in what God is going to do while we’re in the challenge.

RESPONSIBILITY: Instead of praying away every difficulty, ask God to come into it and see you through.

PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to grow through every trouble in my life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)

PROPHETIC WORD: As you invite God into your difficulty, may He breathe in your direction, while empowering you to succeed, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
